A number of support utilities are required by our applications, the latest versions of which can be downloaded from this page. The appropriate utilities are supplied as part of the installation for any application that requires them. However, the version supplied as part of an application suite may not be the latest release available.
Currency Services: !EnCurr
!EnCurr is a support utility for maintaining currencies and exchange rates on behalf of multi-currency applications such as !EnBank. !EnCurr is also used to define 'base' currency and as such is required even if multi-currency support is not to be enabled.
3 December 2003, Version 2 of the Currency Services released.
The new currency services provided by version 2 have a new structure that permits the support of 'Matrix' processing. That is, exchange rates can now, if required, be specified between any two currencies, not just between a currency and the currency defined as 'base'.
Exchange rates can now be specified for a specific time as well as date.
The new structure is also more efficient, improving the performance of any multi-currency client that uses the service.
A 'Compatibility' mode is included so that the new services are backwards compatible with clients written for version 1 of the currency services. Not all improvements, time for example, are relevant to version 1 clients.
The currency and exchange rate maintenance program, !EnCurr, has been updated accordingly.
This version is now included in the !EnBank V3.00 installation kit.

!EnCurr does not require a licence. However, you may require a licence to enable multi-currency functionality in your application. Check the web page for the specific application for details.

- TOLAS V6.6 (OpenVMS version only)
Licence Registration: !EnLicence
!EnLicence is a support utility for registering licence PAKs (Product Authorization Keys). !EnLicence is supplied as part of the installation for any applications that offers licence dependant functionality.
