!EnBank is a personal accounting package for the home user. The base unit of !EnBank lets you analyse your income and expenditure, manage standing orders, keep a track on your cheque book and audit your bank statements. Extensions can be purchased to add features such as multi-currency support to !EnBank.
!EnBank has some unique features that make it both powerful and yet simple to use.
The basic concept is very simple, you define your account(s) and post transactions against them from what is effectively an interactive statement of account. Add to this, the ability to create user accounts to control access and account sharing, Standing order processing, Scratch Pad services, the query module for data filtering, view customisation and the ease at which data can be sorted and you get an overview of !EnBank's capabilities.

Base Unit
The Base Unit includes a built-in licence, known as 'Basic Home Use'. This free of charge licence grants, for non commercial home use, restricted access to the following features:
- Multi-user access controls and account sharing.
- Multiple transaction views may be open at the same time, each with the option of differing columns, sort order, selection criteria and display currency (requires multi-currency extension).
- Query Module for filtering displayed data.
- Two levels of analysis groupings.
- Three types of standing orders - Fixed, Prompt and linked.
- Scratch Pad for storing free format data against Accounts, Transactions & Standing Orders.
- Customise views by sizing and hiding columns.
- Easy sorting (ascending or descending) of data by simply clicking on the column header.
- Cheque Reconciliation.
- WYSIWYG Reports for Account, Standing Order and Transaction Views.
- Summary Accounts.
- Statement verification.
- Projections.
- Export Transaction Data in CSV/TSV Format.
- Import Transaction Data from CSV/TSV files.
- Javascript V1.5 Support.
Javascript can be used from event driven scripts such as 'pre-transaction add' to manipulate, validate and generate postings. It can also be used from the import view to build new fields and/or manipulate the contents of others prior to importing the data.
Basic Home Use restricts data volumes to a maximum of 5 Accounts, 10 Standing Orders and 500 Transactions.
A Licensed Base Unit includes the following additional features:
- No restrictions on data volumes.
- Import QIF, Quicken Interchange Format, files.
- Export QIF Files.
- Saving of import definitions for repeated use.
- Transaction flagword: Up to 32 user definable flags that can be used to identify, classify and control transactions.
Optional Extras
Multi-Currency.
Provides support for version 2 of the Currency Services facility to allow you to post and view information in any currency. Currencies and exchange rates are maintained via a separate application, !EnCurr, which is included in the installation kit. Triangulation is included for full support of the Euro and member currencies with date triggered progression allowing your accounts to seamlessly span the membership date.

With multi-currency enabled you can:
- Post transactions in different currencies.
- Manage accounts in different currencies.
- Summarize accounts into different currencies.
- Display accounts and transactions in different currencies.
- Obtain value breakdowns by currency.
- Use the Transaction object to convert values from Javascript.
Budget Analysis.
Adds the facility to maintain budget entries and to produce analysis information in the form of a cross-tab view. With the multi-currency extension enabled you can specify budget values in any currency, produce cross currency statistics, display your results in any currency and identify variances by currency.
Analysis views are configurable and may be saved for later use, options include:
- Up to 52 periods
- Start Date and optionally time.
- Period frequencies of Daily through Yearly, or, specific occurrence such as Second Tuesday.
- Up to 3 key components: Analysis Group, Class and Account in any order.
- Include Actual, Budget, Value Variance and Percentage Variance figures in any combination.
- Use Budget and/or Transaction filters to target specific data.
- Highlight excessive variances.
- Include 'Projected Transaction Values' in actual figures.
- Budget flagword: Up to 32 user definable flags that can be used to identify, classify and control budget entries.
Downloads
!EnBank requires RISC OS V3.5 or later and uses the RISC OS Toolbox Modules. From Version 2.03 !EnBank is 32/26 Bit neutral and requires a 32-Bit version of the Shared C Library. The latest library can be downloaded from the Iyonix web site.
